The Purple Cape

My Story

Psst — mind your head. Some doors here are smaller than they look. This one is just your size.

The Analog Brain in the Digital World

By Merida Paz – The Purple Witch

People often ask me how I come up with these ideas. How does a survivor, a researcher, and a witch build a global trust network from a cell phone?

The answer is simple: My brain was waiting for today’s technology.

I was born in 1972. I lived almost 30 years of my life in the last century. I grew up in an analog world—a world of books, handwritten letters, and face-to-face conversations. I learned how humans interact when there is no screen between them. I learned the power of a promise made in person.

I also learned the dangers. I lived through the systemic abuse, the gaslighting, and the silence of the 20th century. I saw what happens when people in power are allowed to rewrite history and hide their tracks.

For decades, my brain—with its verbatim memory and hyper-awareness—was a sponge, soaking up the history of human behavior, both the beautiful and the terrible. I was collecting data before the internet even existed.

Waiting for the Technology

I had ideas that couldn’t be built. I wanted a system where people couldn’t hide. I wanted a network based on verified trust, not empty promises. I wanted a way to protect survivors that didn’t rely on a broken legal system or a charity that runs out of money.

The technology didn’t exist yet. The world wasn’t ready. So my brain waited.

And then, the digital age arrived. The algorithms, the social networks, the AI. Suddenly, the tools to build what I had envisioned were right in my hands.

Knowing History So We Don’t Repeat It

Because I spent 30 years in the last century, my ideas are not based on digital trends. They are based on history.

The tech world moves fast, but it has no memory. It makes the same mistakes over and over again—creating systems that exploit attention, enable anonymous abuse, and prioritize profit over people.

My brain doesn’t work that way. I look at today’s algorithms and I see the mistakes of the past. I see the same abuse of power, just wrapped in newer code.

I am building The Purple Cape because I know the history. I know what happens when we let predators hide. I know what happens when women are left without resources.

I am an analog brain living in a digital world. I am using the tools of today to solve the problems of yesterday, so we don’t repeat them tomorrow.

That is why I am The Brain. That is why The Purple Cape is not just a tech platform—it is a sanctuary built on the lessons of the past, protecting the generations of the future.

The Just Trust Seal: A Covenant of Protection

You will see the Just Trust seal on everything we do. It is not just a watermark. It is not just a logo. It is a warning, and it is a promise.

We do not accept betrayal.

In a world that treats loyalty as disposable, The Purple Cape operates by an older code. When you are verified under the Cape, you are family. We care for our souls here. We protect our own. If you are hurting, we will stand in front of you. If you are building, we will build beside you.

But this protection comes with a strict boundary.

The Just Trust seal means that we do not tolerate liars, scammers, abusers, or traitors. If you come under the Cape to harm one of our souls, you are not just breaking a rule—you are breaking a covenant.

We are a sanctuary, but we are a fortress. We protect our hive fiercely, and we do not let the wolves in.

When you see Just Trust, know this: You are safe here. And if you try to hurt one of ours, you will find that the Cape is not just a piece of fabric. It is a shield.

That’s the whole story — so far.
